The Atlanta Hawks can’t seem to make up their mind about Paul Millsap. The Hawks put him on the trading block and there were several interested teams. However, Millsap expressed his desire to stay in Atlanta.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, the Hawks have removed Millsap from the trading block and they are no longer entertaining offers. Then Wojnarowski noted a few days later that the Hawks could revisit a possible Millsap trade. So here is SportsRageous’ list of the four potential landing spots for Paul Millsap.

Boston Celtics

The Celtics have been searching for a third All-Star to pair with Isaiah Thomas and Al Horford. Boston certainly has the assets to pull the trade but they have to be sure that Paul Millsap will sign an extension. Millsap brings another option to the Celtics offense but it does not solve their problem in the middle.

Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets have tried to acquire Paul Millsap in the offseason, per CBS Sports, so why not revisit the trade once again. Denver has a chance to make the playoffs and Millsap will give them the push they need. They also have several pieces to make the deal happen but an extension is needed to keep the Nuggets interested.

Portland Trail Blazers

The Blazers are the most disappointing team this season. They certainly need to make some moves to make the playoffs and adding Paul Millsap is a good deal to make. Portland can let go one of their bloated deals plus picks to make it work and hope that it’s enough to get to the postseason.

Toronto Raptors

Possibly the best fit for Paul Millsap is the Toronto Raptors. Adding the three-time All-Star makes the Raptors the favorites to dethrone the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference. It is a risky deal for the Raptors but it is the time to make it because their window for winning is possibly closing with Kyle Lowry entering free agency this summer.
