As of now, it seems like the Knicks will really consider moving him if the right offer comes along. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, Jackson is weighing the possibility of trading Kristaps Porzingis this offseason.

With the nearing departure of Carmelo Anthony, most people see Porzingis as the Knicks’ next franchise player. However, Jackson doesn’t think the 21-year-old center is ready to carry a team. The Knicks are expected to use the No. 8 pick to acquire him in the upcoming draft. Jackson sees Markkanen as the potential replacement for Porzingis. The  7-foot jump-shooting forward has almost the same skill set as the Latvian center.
