Colin Kaepernick opinion doesn’t matter if he isn’t backing it up with action, Stephen A. Smith scorches him

Like Colin Kaepernick, most people in society are hungry for change. Some step out of their comfort zone and work on it day by day, while others take risks to make things happen, to back up their outlooks in life. Whatever one does, it ought to go beyond just an opinion to truly effect change.

Unlike most people, Colin Kaepernick has the opportunity to do all that and more. Whatever he says or does will mean something more because of his influence as a popular athlete. He often talks about change in the form of a protest for Black Lives Matter. Some people look up to him and value that Colin Kaepernick opinion.

But when the time came for him to truly act on effecting change in the US Elections 2016 he acted like it really didn’t matter.

“I’ve been very disconnected from the systematic oppression as a whole,” Colin Kaepernick told USAToday. “So, for me, it’s another face that’s going to be the face of that system of oppression.

So how are we to deal with a system we can’t even fully understand? To best effect change one must, first, truly engage. Otherwise a Colin Kaepernick opinion would just be a mere babble.

At least this is what ESPN commentator Stephen A. Smith is trying to say.

On Colin Kaepernick opinion Stephen A. Smith said in a report by TheBigLead:

“He absolutely betrayed his cause. As far as I’m concerned Colin Kaepernick is absolutely irrelevant. I don’t want to see him again, I don’t want to hear from him again, I don’t want to hear a damn word about anything that he has to say about our nation, the issues that we have, racial injustices, needing change, etc. etc. He comes across as a flaming hypocrite. As far as I’m concerned I’m not interested in a damn word that he has to say. And quite frankly I hope he goes away.”

And he didn’t end his tirade by accusing Colin Kaepernick as a hypocrite.

“The fact that you don’t even have the decency to go to the polls and activate yourself in this election — as our president said — is a damn shame. I don’t want to hear another word from Colin Kaepernick. It’s a waste of time.” Stephen A. Smith added on Colin Kaepernick opinion.

“Because for him not to vote…as far as I’m concerned, everything he said meant absolutely nothing. I don’t want to hear another damn word from him. Nothing.”
