Week 12 of the NFL season starts off with three Thanksgiving Day games. One of them is between rivals Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Cowboys vs. Redskins Preview
NFC East rivals Cowboys (9-1) and Redskins (6-3-1) will battle it out in Arlington at Thanksgiving. It is just like the good old 1990s when these two teams were actually great. The Cowboys are coming into the game as favorites and with a nine-game winning streak.
Dallas has been led by a pair of rookies in quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott. The QB controversy has been killed by Tony Romo last week. Also, Dez Bryant is back to his old self after suffering an injury early in the season.
The Cowboys are coming off an impressive 27-17 win against the Baltimore Ravens last week. They have several players probable for the game including Bryant. He is questionable for the game after suffering a back injury last week but the offense is ready to pick up the slack.
On the other hand, the Redskins are also coming from an impressive win against the Green Bay Packers. They defeated Aaron Rodgers and company by a score of 42-24. However, these Cowboys team is a different animal and they have to contain Ezekiel Elliott.
The rookie RB had a bad game during their first meeting in Week 2 but he has been dominating defenses ever since. The Cowboys won the game back on September 18, 27-23, at FedExField in Landover, Maryland.
