Denver Broncos QB Brock Osweiler gets into a confrontation outside a pizza place

Denver Broncos are still trying to recover from the retirement of starting quarterback Peyton Manning when their next in line quarterback Brock Osweiler together with his wife got into a confrontation outside a pizza place.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the incident took place at Joe’s Pizza in Scottsdale around 2 a.m. Saturday morning when Osweiler and his group arrived after watching Kelly James performed at the W Hotel. On witnesses account, Osweiler was jeered by another group when things heated up.

In the video a woman would confront Osweiler and his wife when he shoves the lady aside. The action angered another man, who forcibly push Osweiler to a waiting vehicle. But instead of fighting back, Osweiler told his friends to get inside the vehicle and that is when the police came to calm the situation. Osweiler did not fight back even as he was taunted by the other male in the video. No arrests were made and the situation was under control.

Fox Sports reported that the 25-year old Osweiler will become a restricted free agent unless the Broncos sign him. The Broncos are reportedly offering the former Arizona State stalwart a $45 million deal offer. But the Broncos will have to worry that as the Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Rams are also interested in signing him.

Osweiler was selected with the 57th overall pick in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. He signed a rookie contract for four years and $3,516,000 through the 2015 season. In his 2015 season, Osweiler has a passing completion of 187 with 2,126 passing yards.

He won his first career game leading the Broncos against the Chicago Bears, 17-15 and then went onto beating the New England Patriots, 30-24 in overtime. He was then sidelined with a low-grade strain to the medical collateral ligament of his right knee against their match with the San Diego Chargers.
