Ex-USC quarterback Todd Marinovich, who last played in the NFL for the L.A. Raiders, is in hot waters following his arrest Friday night for possession of controlled substance and trespassing.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger could be playing in a crucial Week 9 matchup against division rivals Baltimore Ravens. The veteran quarterback has missed the last game for the Steelers due to a knee injury, but he is listed as “questionable” Sunday afternoon.

“We had a good day today. He had a good day today,” Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin stated to ESPN. “We’ll see how his body responds to the work. We don’t have to make the decision today so we won’t. We’ll continue to push forward toward game day.”

Roethlisberger reportedly practiced with the Steelers the last week and most reports expect the QB to make the start against the Ravens.

Even Baltimore veteran linebacker Terrell Suggs stated that they shouldn’t “fall for” the latest injury reports that Roethlisberger is questionable. Suggs said that he has “seen this movie before” and that they expect the veteran QB to play Sunday.

If Roethlisberger plays, Baltimore’s defense will be challenged to be more active in pressuring the player under center.

The Steelers have lost back-to-back games including a Week 7 loss to the New England Patriots, which was the game missed by Roethlisberger. Pittsburgh got a bit lucky with Week 8 as a bye week for the team. The Ravens are also coming off a bye week.

The Ravens won both season meetings last year, winning 23-20 (OT) in Pittsburgh and 20-17 in Baltimore. Overall, the Ravens have won five of the last six games against the Steelers.
