NFL Rumor: Johnny Manziel to play for Rams?

Johnny Manziel is hoping to land a job before the NFL season starts and is looking at the LA Rams.

A beleaguered Johnny Manziel is looking for a team that will take him and his off-field antics and the Los Angeles Rams are considering on taking him, according to NFL rumors.

Manziel was spotted by TMZ just coming out of The Nice Guy Saturday night looking sober and when interviewed gave out lots of love for the Rams, especially for their running Back Todd Gurley. Aside from sending love for the Rams, Manziel was also spotted hanging out with Justin Bieber at the 10ak Nightclub.

“You know what I think about the Rams? Todd Gurley is a BEAST!” Manziel said.

Ever since he was released by the Cleveland Browns, Manziel has been spotted almost every night partying in clubs from Miami to Los Angeles to Las Vegas. However, looks like the Rams are not looking at Manziel as their possible quarterback when the season starts this year.

The Rams are looking at selecting a quarterback win the 2016 NFL Draft and form the looks of things they might not consider signing Manziel due to his off-field activities and court issues as well.

The Rams already have Case Keenum and the have big plans for him. Taking Manziel would be a suicide of sorts for the Rams and owner Jeff Fisher does not want any problems with his team on and off the court since they have just transferred from St. Louis.

Thus, the best option is to look at potential quarterbacks from the pool of talent during the draft and hope to land someone who could be place side-by-side Keenum and would be the future of the team.

CBS posted 10 possible top quarterbacks who will be available during the draft. They are Jared Goff (California); Carson Wentz (North Dakota State); Paxton Lynch (Memphis); Connor Cook (Michigan State); Christian Hackenberg (Penn State); Dak Prescott (Mississippi State); Cardale Jones (Ohio State); Jacoby Brissett (North Carolina State); Brandon Doughty (Western Kentucky); and Kevin Hogan (Stanford).

With the field of talents entering the draft, teams such as the Rams look to invest on the young bloods who could be franchise players in the future. Manziel will have to rely on his new agent, Drew Rosenhaus, to get him a new team that could pay for his luxurious lifestyle.
