Carson Wentz recently suffered a rib injury during a pre-season game. This happened when his team of Philadelphia Eagles recently fought the Tampa Bay Rays. But this NFL rumors of him being out before the start of next season might derail his plans to develop his game even further as a rookie this year.
Carson needs to have a healthy pre-season so that he can prepare himself for the grinds of the upcoming regular season.
The Eagles announced that Wentz might have suffered a hairline fracture in his ribs. This statement is contrary to what Doug Peterson told the reporters based on the article by Kevin Patra of NFL.com.
Pederson said that the “sore ribs” that Carson got is just going to keep him out of practice for now. He added that his player is going to be back for the next week’s match of the team.
But Patra reported that the quarterback still does not have a timetable as his coach added. Pederson said that the team only hopes for him to be back before the end of preseason.
Though this NFL rumors report suggests that Wentz might be out until the start of the season, the player is hopeful that this is not going to happen.
“I’ll have to be cleared for game situations and live contact, and the goal is hopefully in preseason I’ll be ready to go,” Carson said. He adds that he is still uncertain, but he will try his best to be back on the field sooner than later.
Wentz is just 23-years-old, but NFL rumors like this could really affect his young career if the injury lingers throughout the coming season.
