Arrow Season 4 finale will air on May 25, 2016 and has been given the title “Schism”. Wendy Mericle, executive producer of The CW series recently revealed how the finale will turn out and how it will definitely provide a massive hint on the proceedings of Season 5.
“It’s pretty grim one, I’m sad to say. We have a huge number of potential fatalities. And you’ll definitely get a hint about where the team is headed for Season 5.” Mericle told TVLine.
The CW recently released the synopsis of Arrow Season 4 finale. With all the hints directing towards a large-scale showdown between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), the synopsis teased an unexpected team-up for Oliver with “a surprising force”.
“Oliver teams up with a surprising force in an attempt to stop Damien Darhk and his magic once and for all” the synopsis read.
Meanwhile, Arrow Season 4 finale is rumored to follow the path shown by Season 2 Deathstroke battle. The producers have planned a large-scale showdown which has caused a part of Vancouver to be closed to accommodate it, as reported by comicbookresources.com.
Judging by what Mericle revealed, the ruthless killing spree of the Arrow characters will continue until the finale. There will be no end to the bloodshed and favorite characters will demise resulting in grimness.
While all the potential deaths may make the viewer’s sad, there is hope in the fact that the producers are not planning to keep all the explosions and cliffhangers saved until the final hour. Oliver’s little sister will “grapple” with her destiny as Speedy – as well as face off against an old foe – in the next few weeks.
