Numerous rumors have sputtered about online ever since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Brad Pitt. Some of these rumors have included the absurd like Pitt’s suicide to the controversial-like Pitt’s supposed affair with actress Marion Cotillard. Another recent speculation borders both absurd and controversial with some sources indicating that Angelina Jolie is rekindling a failed relationship with ex-lover Jenny Shimizu.
According to a report that was posted by Radar Online, there is news that “Angelina Jolie switching teams again? As her marriage to Brad Pitt implodes, RadarOnline.com has learned that she’s already called her lesbian lover, Jenny Shimizu!”
But this false rumor was immediately debunked by Gossip Cop, saying that Angelina Jolie is far from even exploring a relationship, once again.
“Angelina Jolie is NOT making secret calls to her lesbian lover after filing for divorce from Brad Pitt,” clarified Gossip Cop. The website also pointed out that Radar Online simply twisted the report of one of their sources who said that “Angelina called Jenny this week to let her know what was going on and she told her that she wants to be a good mother to her kids.”
Angelina Jolie and her past with Jenny Shimizu
Although the false rumor by Radar Online may still have an ounce of truth as Jolie did date the model and actress in the 1990s. Since then, Shimizu has moved on and married socialite Michelle Harper.
In Radar Online’s story, the webloid also stated that Jolie is “reaching out” to her friends, in light of the current situation. And at this point, it really may seem that Angelina Jolie could really use all the support that she can get.
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt is reportedly facing child abuse charges, though Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services are required by law to keep mum about the issue. Though USA Today has reported that sources close to Pitt are saying that the actor is taking the matter “very seriously and is fully cooperating,” and he claims that the allegations are “greatly exaggerated or fabricated.”
