Big Hero 7 is the much awaited sequel of the super hit 2014 Disney animated feature film Big Hero 6. Rumors are circulating that the sequel is already under works and that Tadashi Hamada will return as the villain of the movie.
The return of Tadashi as the antagonist was confirmed by Stan Lee himself a year back when he spoke to the Toronto Sun. He spilled the beans that a sequel is already in the works.
“After Ant-Man, we’re going to start playing around with Doctor Strange, the Black Panther, the Inhumans, and then we have to come back for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Big Hero 6, the Avengers, Captain America” Lee said.
As movie enthusiasts will recollect that Tadashi died while saving his younger brother Hiro from an explosion in the first movie. However, critic Jon Negroni mentioned on his blog that the movie did not show any scenes which confirmed that Tadashi actually died in the fire. According to him, Disney might have done this on purpose to make Tadashi return as Sunfire.
Sunfire was an original member of the Big Hero 6. However, his return as the main villain to Hiro and his team will be due to the fact that he will be possessed by those on the dark side.
Meanwhile, Disney has confirmed that Big Hero 6 will have its very own TV series. The storyline of the show will kick off right after the events of the movie. Hiro and his team will continue to battle the hi-tech super villains that continue to threaten the city, as reported by slashfilm.com.
