The Blacklist fans are now excited with the possibility that Megan Boone (Elizabeth Keen) is after all not dead or at least will appear in the season finale in a flashback, according to the rumors involving the crime drama thriller on NBC.

Elizabeth Keen died in an earlier episode of the series, a development that surprised many fans but most are still holding on to the theory that it’s just a twist and that the character will be back in Season 4. The season finale for the third season is set later this week but

The show has had a great following the past three seasons with the performance of veteran actor James Spader (as Raymond ‘Red’ Reddington) as the primary reason why fans have been glued to the series the past years.

Fans have shared their own theories on social media Twitter with one user saying that she saw Boone on the set days before the season finale fueling rumors that the Elizabeth Keen character will once again appear in a later episode.

NBC has been tight-lipped on the status of Boone in the Blackist series but this could be more on protecting possible spoilers on the plot even as the season 4 final airs on May 19. A fourth season is scheduled to return in September later this year.

From IMDB.com, the synopsis for the final episode reads: “As Reddington and the task force close in on the person responsible for Liz’s death, a shocking betrayal leaves them racing to save one of their own” and consistent with the show-runners decision to kill Megan Boone’s character.
