It seems like Activision is on the path of following gaming trends when it comes to the release of the highly anticipated Call of Duty 2016. It is now being rumored that the highly sought COD 2016, next to Black Ops 3, would likely include pre-order bonus namely, Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2.
Though there is still no conclusive evidence of the particular gesture of Activision, it is being stipulated in other reports that such rumor is coming from a “credible source” as what TheTechGame previously emphasized.
Such speculation of pre-order bonus Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 is not a far-fetched idea at all. This particular move is not new in the scene of gaming industry wherein competition has been very tough for most developers and publishers.
In retrospect Fallout, 4 includes a free Fallout 3 while Alan Wake comes with Quantum Break. Almost every new game releases have its own pre-order bonuses. Thus, Activision is not too far from employing such marketing technique.
On the other hand, aside from using a proven marketing technique employing bonus games and maps, Call of Duty 2016 will likely be a hit because of its rumored “Space Combat Feature,” suggesting a more advanced setting of this particular Call of Duty installment. According to PS Lifestyle, gaming world insider shared some details about the upcoming COD 2016 stating that:
“shinobi602: This makes Black Ops 3 feel like the stone age. Metaphorically of course.
shinobi602: Very far future. Space combat. Full on sci-fi.”
While there is still no update on the exact release date and confirmed title of the Call of Duty 2016, the speculated changes in the story line and approach will somehow suffice for now. And with such declaration of revolutionary setting, a new frontier inevitably awaits Call of Duty gamers. Thus, it would not take a rocket scientist figure out the possible successful outcome of the release of the awaited COD 2016.
