The Flash Season 2 is left with three more episodes and every viewer is anticipating what lies ahead in the finale. Many speculations and rumors are floating in the air but there has been a major reveal from a trustable source. Tom Cavanagh, who plays the character Dr. Harrison Wells in the show has teased with a reveal that a character is set to die in the finale.

“Crazy stuff happens. … That’s what we do at DC. We don’t be like, ‘Well we did that well, let’s just repeat that.’ We don’t do that. We don’t go like, ‘Ah, they’ve had enough thrills,’ we don’t do that either.’ Should we have someone die perhaps? I don’t know, maybe.” Cavanagh said to DC All Access.

Cavanagh also revealed that The Flash Season 2 finale will be extreme and viewers won’t be disappointed with what DC has to offer. He added that it is common in the TV world to build something up for 22 episodes and then make the finale a blockbuster.

Rumors are heavily linking Henry Allen, played by John Wesley Shipp or Joe West, played by Jesse L. Martin to meet their demise from The Flash. The lead character of the series Barry, played by Grant Gustin may also see either of his fathers being killed. This is based on the fact that time and again they have shown their willingness to sacrifice their lives for the safety of their son, as reported by Eumenical News.

Recently YVR Shoots posted a picture on Twitter revealing the location of the finale episode. The location was identified to be the Mountain View Cemetery in Vancouver, Canada. This picture has supported the claims of a character death in The Flash Season 2 finale even more.

The final episode of the series, titled “The Race of His Life” will be aired on the CW on May 24, 2016 at 8 p.m. EST.
