There’s no doubt in our minds that George Clooney, the widely popular actor of The American, is one good looking man, as printed in Bill Murray’s shirt while hanging out with the couple.

In fact, prior to marrying his wife, Amal Clooney, the actor has had a long list of women he has dated, from Kelly Preston, Talia Balsam (ex-wife), Ginger Lynn Allen, Renee Zellweger, to WWE Diva Stacy Kiebler.

The list of, course, does not include a stack of women he’s had one-night stands with.

So it comes to no surprise at all that the Ocean’s Eleven actor has an ongoing problem with stalkers.

Back in 2006, George Clooney had major concerns against website Gawker Stalker, where people post about celebrity sightings he deems invasive of his privacy. He has people stalking him everywhere, a delusional woman who believes she has a special relationship with him.

George Clooney bought Villa Oleandra and, later on, the adjoining Villa Margherita at Lake Como in Northern Italy as a hideaway. He goes there to stay away from the press and fans, and brought his date Elisabetta Canalis, where they were photographed having a good time on motorcycles, down the Italian countryside.

But that didn’t stop his followers from stalking him either, who gathered in groups outside his estate. His super-rich neighbors complained about the fuss, which led to its mayor, Giorgio Possi, to issue a ban and a subsequent fine.

George Clooney and his wife, Amal reportedly built a panic-room in their $15.4 million Berkshire mansion.

George Clooney’s long problem with stalkers doesn’t end there.

On Monday, the Hollywood actor obtained a restraining order against a man reported to be suffering from bipolar disorder and possibly schizophrenia.

Mark Bibbee, also 55, an Army veteran, has sent the couple 189 documents via email. It is said to contain threats against both George and Amal Clooney, including what’s described as “rambling, delusional and disturbing” documents from him.

Mark Bibbee’s files made references to a fabricated assassination of former president George Bush Sr. and branded the Orlando shooting as “a false flag event to cover for LGBT criminals and pedophiles.”

He is now admitted to a psychiatric ward in Los Angeles and instructed to stay at least 100 yards away from the couple with a 5-year restraining order.

That wouldn’t be a problem for now, as George Clooney and Amal are reported to be having a peaceful time together in Northern Italy. On his popularity, Clooney says:

“Fame has an interesting element to it, but if you tend to be followed round by a camera then you can feel suffocated at times.”
