In the NBA, there are basketball players and then there’s LeBron James. In the latest news about the King, an incident that involves the NBA GameTime App has made James to turn to Twitter to voice his concerns.
On Thursday night, LeBron tweeted a complain towards the NBA GameTime App. Several hours later, the NBA responded and stated that an update will be happening soon.
Yup, we're on it. Dev team is working on an update today.

This only shows how influential LeBron is, on and off the basketball court. According to CBS Sports, the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar complained about the functionality of NBA GameTime’s box score. Clearly, the NBA did not disappoint LeBron and released an update on Friday.
Meanwhile, according to SportTechie, the NBA released an update of its official app last week prior to the start of the preseason. The update features game scores and schedules, highlight videos and league news. Also, it also allows the user to choose whatever teams or players you want to follow.
This incident proves two things. One, LeBron being just like anyone of us who likes to check out the NBA box scores using our mobile devices and two, LeBron is super influential. Unlike us, the King gets results right away.
Together with the release of the new update, the people behind NBA GameTime App include a note that says, “We appreciate your feedback and we’re always looking to improve the NBA app. This release includes a box score update for better navigation and other performance enhancements.”
