Orange is the New Black Season 5 latest update is that the latest installment had attracted about 6.7 million viewers on Netflix making it one of the most watched shows on cable since its release last June 17.
Variety.com reports that during the Consumer 360 conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, it was revealed by Nielsen that that orange is the New Black Season 5 Episode 1 and Episode 2 had 6.7 million and 5.9 million viewers, respectively, from June 17 to June 19.
“That places “Orange” in the same league as the most watched shows on cable for the same week. In Nielsen live-plus-three ratings, the June 19 episode of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” was cable’s most watched show with 10.4 million total viewers. The June 13 season premiere of TNT’s “Major Crimes” ranked second with 5.8 million,” the article stated.

Before the release on Netflix, speculations were ripe about the fate of some of the inmates. Will Soso commit suicide due to Poussey’s death? Will Lolly return and what will happen to Daya?
