Prison Break season 1 featured Burrows being broken out of jail by Scofield and in the new trailer it was the other way around as Scofield is seen in a Moroccan prison with Burrows and company conspiring for another jailbreak.

The start of the trailer showed Dr. Tancredi and son (Christian Michael Cooper as Mike Scofield) talking about Scofield with the latter asking about his father. It was assumed early that Scofield is dead but later on was revealed that Scofield could possibly be alive with after a photo of him in a prison was discovered.

The first Prison Break series last from 2005 to 2009 in four seasons with the reboot coming back eight years later, set for airing in 2017.

IMDB lists the series description as “Lincoln and Sara team up after they discover Michael is still alive in a Yemen prison. And plan a big escape with the help of their friends,” and same with the storyline of the new Prison Break trailer.

Yahoo reports that the Prison Break reboot will take over Bones’ Thursday at 9PM time slot on Fox in early 2017.
