Reboot of ‘Charmed’ may not be charming as Allyssa Milano reveals the uncertainty of original cast’s return

It is not a secret anymore to almost every TV series fans that reboot of popular TV series are in progress. From Prison Break to other notable series are rumored to be revived in the coming months. One of the most anticipated American TV series reboot would be ‘Charmed’.

The cult classic which featured Holly Marie Comb as Piper Halliwell, Alyssa Milano as Phoebe Halliwell, Rose McGowan as Paige Matthews and Prue Halliwell as Shannen Doherty will soon be back on your TV screen.

It has been quite some time that series of requests for a Charmed reboot were expressed in the world of social media. And this time around, Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) would likely give into the demand of fans. However, such reboot would somehow be having a makeover for there is no certainty yet regarding the inclusion of the original main characters, the most powerful good witches of all time- the Charmed ones.

The truth behind the said news would likely sadden most Charmed fanatics all around the globe, especially that these fans are interested to see the continuation of the last aired episode back in May 2006. It was just almost two days ago that main character Alyssa Milano informed via social media their fans of the impending return of the drama series.

However, rejoicing seemed to have been eclipsed by doubts and fear, for another info which Milano also shared, showcased the uncertainty of her return and as well as some of the main cast of the TV series.

 “#Charmed fans! Nothing has been confirmed. CBS is developing a reboot without the original cast. That’s all I know for sure.

With the uncertainty of the news and the casting of Charmed, CBS should do their best to make the reboot more appealing in order not to make their rating less charming.
