NFL Rumors: Brock Osweiler Dead, Broncos to ‘kill’ Texans QB on MNF

By on

Houston Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler dead by Monday is the latest celebrity death rumor with former teammates with the Denver Broncos promising to “kill” the young QB in their Week 7 Monday Night Football (MNF) match-up this coming week.

It’s a figurative death for quarterback in Houston with the threat coming from his former team months after moving to Houston in free agency. Osweiler was a backup to Peyton Manning in Denver and was supposed to be their next franchise QB when Manning retired.

But Osweiler chose the Texans, which gave him a four-year contract worth $72 million last offseason.

“It’s Brock. We know Brock. He came from here. And we want to kill him. That’s just what we want to do,” Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall stated via a tweet from Paul Klee, a Broncos beat writer for The Gazette.

Marshall was joking about killing his former teammate but on the field the Broncos are one of the top defenses in the league in getting to the quarterback and Osweiler could have a difficult time Monday when they visit Denver.

The Broncos defense could murder Osweiler, who just led his team to a comeback win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6. But if the quarterback plays as well as he did versus the Colts, Marshall’s threat could be empty and the Texans will earn back-to-back wins to improve to 5-2 for the season.

The Broncos started the season 4-0 but have lost their last two games, to the Atlanta Falcons (23-16) and San Diego Chargers (21-13).

Brock Osweiler dead by Monday Night Football or the Houston Texans QB leads his team to an upset win on the road over former teammates with the Denver Broncos.
