Some sort of drama has been revolving around LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers lately. In past days, cryptic messages are being posted by James to his social media account, and if carelessly interpreted would only mean dissatisfaction.

Though there is no direct explanation, one cannot help but think that James might be planning for another move to another team.

It cannot be denied that there is a grain of truth in the possible departure of James from the Cavaliers. Facts seem to support the rumors of his impending transfer, especially that he may leave in free agency this summer.

Hoops Habit courtesy of ESPN radio stipulated the possibilities of the said transfer anchoring on the statement of a sports journalist.

“What everybody who’s close to him continuously reminds me of is: ‘don’t you dare take LeBron for granted or think he’s trapped into staying in Cleveland just because he came back. Don’t put it past him that he’ll get so annoyed that he’ll leave again if he feels like he’s being taken for granted, ran into the ground, and, essentially, misused,”  Stephen A. Smith told ESPN Radio.

And for such matter various landing options of LBJ have been expressed in the web. And among the said teams that may acquire James’ service would be the defending champions Golden State Warriors.

There has been a great deal of Kevin Durant possibly signing for the Warriors, but some fans neglect to consider the intriguing possibility of LeBron James and Stephen Curry playing together. Before we get into the stumbling blocks of this possible huge deal, let us first examine some of the reasons why James may want to play for the Warriors.

First, it is not a secret anymore that James aims to win more NBA titles. And though Cavaliers may be a contender in the Eastern Conference, their current line-up is not the favorite in the league to possibly win multiple titles in the coming NBA seasons.

Secondly, James is not getting younger anymore, and soon he might need the best support he can get from relatively dominant young players in the league, and from the looks of it, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry can quickly fill in the void. And together with Draymond Green and either Andrew Bogut or Festus Ezeli, competition will surely be tougher than before.

This idea of James transferring to the Bay Area is indeed beyond enticing; it will surely tickle the imagination of all NBA fans. However, there are some concerns which may frustrate the creation of such dream team.

James playing for the Warriors is not that plausible right now. Unless significant concerns such as great financial efforts are addressed, and whether if James can be too callous enough to ignore the criticisms of some fans for selling out, then the transfer will not happen at all.

But if all other limitations are to be addressed, then we might just have a chance to witness NBA’s current most dominant player tag along with the most dominant team in the NBA today.
