The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) universe is eagerly awaiting the return of The Undertaker in 2016 after his WrestleMania 32 appearance. The Dead Man was involved in a Hell in a Cell match in which he defeated Shane McMahon.
Although Sane O Mac is still doing his duty with the WWE, The Undertaker has been off from the television screens since WrestleMania 32. Although rumors have surfaced that fans have seen the last of Taker, it is indeed not the scenario and there is a possibility of him returning. Will it be in 2016? It is not certain.
WWE veteran superstar, The Big Show has come out to reveal that The Undertaker will return again in the squared circle before too long. The 7-foot giant has also urged the fans of the wrestling-promotion to see the Dead Man performing while they still can.
“No, I don’t think Taker’s story is done. I think as long as Taker feels healthy enough and feels good enough to go out there he will. And I’m okay with seeing Taker on special events, because Taker is the ultimate attraction.” Big Show said to Digital Spy.
The 44-year-old believes however that both he and The Undertaker are not young horses anymore and their legacy in the WWE ring won’t last forever. The time has come in the wrestling promotion when a change of guard will happen and hence fans should utilize any opportunity of watching The Dead Man in action.
Meanwhile, it is being heavily rumored that The Undertaker upon his return will feud with Bill Goldberg. A few of the sources have even thrown John Cena’s name into the mix, but Goldberg’s chances of facing The Phenom at WrestleMania 33 is very high, according to The Wrestling Observer.
Goldberg vs. The Undertaker will provide a platform where two biggest faces of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and WWE go head-to-head with one another. The match if booked, could be one of the biggest attractions in the history of professional wrestling.
However, the clash of Goldberg and The Undertaker will depend upon a couple of factors. The first is The Dead Man’s health. There has been no official word from any sources since his recent medical procedures. However, if we consider Big Show’s words, the return will be sooner than expected.
The second is the outcome of Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series 2016. It is still unknown if the 49-year-old will continue after his feud with The Beast Incarnate. But, if he does, it is very likely that it will be with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33.
