“Interest from Atletico? Yes, and many other teams. He’s contracted with Borussia for four more years so we mustn’t speak about it, but of course [teams] are watching him for what he did last season.” Aubameyang’s father told AS, via Football ESPANA.

Aubameyang was also asked regarding last season’s Champions League final between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid. On this question the striker’s reply was that the match was exciting and all the players of both the teams played great.

Atletico are not the only foreign club interested in signing the striker. English Premier League giants’ Manchester City and Arsenal are also trying their best to capture the player. However, with a $79 million price tag and his recent desire to play in Spain, a transfer to the Premier League looks unlikely at the moment, according to Daily Mail.
