Peres is equally adept at both right and left full-back positions, which would provide Arsenal manager with an excellent cover for Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal should either of them get sidelined due to an injury. The man from São Paulo, Brazil featured primarily in the right wing-back position for Torino last season where he excelled.

Peres showcased some brilliant talents with the ball. He has amazing stamina, pace and is extremely good delivering quality crosses inside the opponent box. He also has a natural tendency to carry the ball from the deep into good attacking positions.

Should the transfer go through, Peres has a lot of adjusting to do if he wants to make it big in the Premier League. First, he has to change his playing style to that of a full-back from a wing-back. Second, he has to improve his decision making skills as well as his physical attributes to strive in the English game.
