Several interesting kits have been revealed by various teams recently, but Spanish third division football team CD Palencia Balompie have set the”new kit gaming” to the next level with their new and shocking anatomical 2016-2017 kit made by Italian athletic brand Kappa.

The  jersey and shorts represent the anatomical appearance of the human body, with a realistic red color for the players, with the exception of the goal keeper, who gets a deep violet colored kit. The socks, however, stays plain black.

The intriguing kit has gained mixed reactions from football fans, some saying that it is the worst kit ever, while others saying it is the coolest and best kit ever made.

The kit was launched along with the tagline ” Nos Dejamos la Piel” which is an expression that means “to give one’s all” and literally, “we give our skin” in Spanish.

C.D. Palencia, who is hoping to move up to the Segunda B division, is planning to use the new kit on the playoffs.

The new kits are put up for sale with the price of about 50 euros.

Other Spanish lower division teams have also launched unique designs in the past, such as La Hoya Lorca brocolli-themed 2013-2014 jerseys which were inspired by their base location Murcia, the “vegetable garden of Spain”, CD Guijuelo’s ham-themed 2015-2016 jerseys, which were inspired from the famous Jamón de Guijuelo ham of the city and Cultural y Deportivo Leones’ tuxedo-themed  2014-2015 jerseys designed by the Danish firm Hummel.
