El Clasico 2016: Barcelona vs. Real Madrid preview

The football world is set to keep an eye on the El Clasico showdown Barcelona vs. Real Madrid at Camp Nou, Barcelona on April 2, Saturday.

Barcelona is in number one spot 10 points ahead with their rival Real Madrid on third place.

The pressure is now on Zinedine Zidane since it is his first El Clasico as Real manager. Real was last crowned champions in Spain in 2012.

Though most of the people have doubts with him since he is still learning and the way to becoming a word-class head coach seems to be a difficult path. According to, Zidane said in an interview on Friday that he is completely relaxed and enjoying what he is doing.

Zidane has almost an ideal line up to face Barcelona though Raphael Varane, Real Madrid defender, suffered from injury while serving an international duty with France which caused him to missed training on Friday.

On the other hand, Barcelona stays undefeated after 39 games since October and Boss Luis Enrique describes the team as “crazy” for winning one of the biggest bout in football history. Forwards Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar are expected to start the Barcelona vs. Real Madrid match to give a big boost to the team.

Enrique said in an interview that they are playing to stay as leaders and take a giant step in the league regardless of the points difference.

“It doesn’t matter how many points behind Real Madrid might be, we are still two of the best teams on the planet.”

He expects to have a fiery Nou camp and that the fans of their team are on highest level against their biggest, eternal rivals.

The Barcelona vs Real Madrid match is expected to give a huge impact in the football world with a very unpredictable outcome.
