Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has frozen out under manager Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium. His agent Dimitri Seluk has launched a verbal assault at the manager claiming that his personality is “s***”.

“It is not correct to do that. It is not correct to give up on a top-class player. But this is his decision – he is a good coach but his personality is s***.” Seluk said, as reported by Goal.com.

Seluk has also asked the club hierarchy to intervene and stop Guardiola from treating his client so poorly. He has mentioned that Toure is considered as a “family” at the Etihad Stadium and should be given the due respect by the Spanish manager.

This is not the first time when Toure’s agent has lashed out at Guardiola. Previously, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager was criticized for leaving Toure out of crucial matches in the Champions league.

Guardiola has also stood firm by claiming that he won’t be playing the midfielder in the first-team. Toure’s only way of making the first-team is through an apology to the Spaniard as well as the entire team for Seluk’s remarks.

Seluk has stressed on the fact that Toure will not leave the club before the end of his contract. He will wait until the end of the season to honor the terms with the club, where he has achieved a lot of success in his career. This could change however, if the City officials decide to approach him and reach acceptable terms where the player could easily leave the Etihad Stadium.

“He has a contract until June and he will stay. If they want him to leave they must make a conversation with me and then it is if we agree.” Seluk mentioned.

Toure’s manager has also criticized Guardiola of selecting easy projects like Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester City where he could easily buy the best players with unlimited money. He has challenged the Spaniard to guide the likes of West Bromwich Albion to the Premier League title before boasting of his achievements.

“After that he will say it is very difficult and £1bn is not enough. If he comes to West Brom would he win the title? [Claudio] Ranieri, [Ronald] Koeman and [Mauricio] Pochettino show what is possible with less money. It is more easy with half a billion pounds.” Seluk added.
