Manchester United supporters will be delighted to hear the news of Paul Pogba agreeing to return back to Old Trafford from Juventus for a world record transfer fee. The French midfielder has accepted the proposal offered by the Red Devils and will play under Jose Mourinho in the upcoming season.

The 23-year-old will earn $14.33 million-a-year for five years, as reported by Spanish daily, Marca. Despite having interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City, Manchester United have won the race to capture the most sought after midfielder in world football at the moment.

The paper also reports that Pogba had his hearts set out to sign for Real Madrid. However, since the Los Blancos decided to pull away from the transfer, the Frenchman has no other option than joining United. He has also reportedly told his friends and colleagues that he will be returning back to the Theater of Dreams.

Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has been having a fantastic time with Manchester United at the moment. His two other clients, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan has also signed for the Red Devils this season and Pogba will be his third this summer.

The Italian-born Dutch football agent is also set to receive a bumper payment for making the deal happen. However, this won’t be because of United paying him any special fee for the transfer. There is a clause in Pogba’s contract that Raiola will receive 20% of the player’s rights.

The deal will make Pogba the most expensive player ever in world football. The reported fee will be around $133 million.

However, nothing official has been stated by either of the clubs or from Pogba’s camp. But, United’s supporters will be already dancing with joy as they know that if there is any honesty behind the news, they are getting one of the best central midfielders in world football at present.
