Jose Mourinho, United manager has made Griezmann his top summer target. If rumors are to be believed then it looks like the Portuguese gaffer has got his man.

Eric Olhats, Griezmann’s adviser and the man who helped unearth the talent recently revealed that there was no truth behind Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) interest in the player. He also reminded that the Frenchman has a £84 million ($107m) release clause in his contract, according to The Sun.
“There is an existing clause of €100m, which is unavoidable. We’re thinking right now about the most suitable offer. Real Madrid and other clubs are part of this thinking process,” Olhats said to French TV station Telefoot.
“We’re at the stage of gathering information from clubs who have a concrete interest. United were the first to come and see us and the most concrete in their wishes.”
Manchester United not the only club interested in Griezmann
Atletico Madrid are in talks with Olhats to try and convince Griezmann to stay. They have offered improved terms and wish to increase his buy-out clause.
Meanwhile, it is also being reported that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has also made Griezmann his No. 1 target of the summer transfer window. However, the Spaniard will face a tough battle convincing the France international not to join close friend and international team mate Paul Pogba at Old Trafford, as reported by Daily Mail.
Sergio Aguero has been working hard to transform into the all-round striker Guardiola wants, but with City’s owners ready to back him heavily in the transfer market again, Griezmann is considered the better option. But, Manchester United have maintained a long-term interest, which is only likely to intensify after Zlatan Ibrahimovic suffered a career threatening ACL injury against Anderlecht.
Chelsea will also throw their name into the hat with Diego Costa a potential makeweight in any deal for Griezmann. Their top scorer has grafted since a January fall out with Antonio Conte but continues to struggle with London life and would welcome the chance to return to his former club.
Meanwhile, Griezmann himself appears to be tired of talking about his future. The 26-year-old stormed out of his post-match interview recently.
“That’s it, I’ve already spoken. I do not want to talk anymore,” Griezmann said.
