Paul Pogba will reject any big-money move from Manchester United, Real Madrid or Barcelona and will remain at Juventus for his fifth season. Argentina and Juventus striker Paulo Dybala has confirmed that the Frenchman will not leave Turin this season.
“Pogba will remain here. I spoke with him and I believe he will stay. We didn’t talk about football but I believe that will be the case.” Dybala said in an interview to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Both Pogba and Dybala won the Serie A and Copa Italia double together last season with Juventus. After having an amazing season with the Old Lady, the 23-year-old has been linked heavily with the likes of Real Madrid. However, Juventus’ extremely high valuation of the player will likely hinder any possible transfer.
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is looking to build a team which will likely challenge for the Champions League next season and Paul Pogba will play a major role in his plans. The I Bianconeri has already signed midfielder Miralem Pjanić from AS Roma and defender Dani Alves from Barcelona with a possible transfer of Javier Mascherano on the horizon. Hence, any possible departure from the club is unlikely unless a big-value bid comes in for the player, according to ESPN.
“I‘ve already played with him in the national team. I like to play with the best players” Dybala said on Mascherano’s transfer to Juventus.
Meanwhile, the 22-year-old Argentine striker feels that the loss of Alvaro Morata to Real Madrid will hurt Juventus. It was the Spaniard who had helped settle Dybala at the club from Turin.
