Real Madrid Transfer News: Aubameyang will be the next Galactico

Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has been in sensational form. This has raised an interest from La Liga giant Real Madrid and they want to make the player their next Galactico.

Aubameyang is one of the biggest reasons that his club is still in the race to topple Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. The Gabonese striker has been scoring goals for fun in the German football’s top division for a few seasons now.

He scored a total of 39 goals in 49 games last season. He scored 25 goals in the Bundesliga alone in 31 appearances. He also created 29 chances for his team. The 27-year-old has started the current season in sensational form as well in which he has already found the net six times in six appearances, as reported by Squawka.

The players’ lethal presence in front of the goal has created the interest from Los Blancos and they will look to add the player to their lineup next summer. The transfer rumor has also gained steam since the player had promised his grandfather that one day he will play featuring the whites at the Santiago Bernabeu, according to The Sun.

“Before he died, in 2014, I promised my grandfather I would play for Madrid one day”. The former AC Milan forward mentioned.

Dortmund and Real Madrid face each other in a Champions League group F encounter on Tuesday. Aubameyang will be one of the key players in the match having scored four goals in ten days against the likes of Legia Warseaw, Wolfsburg and Freiburg.

Before the high voltage match, the player was asked regarding a future transfer to Real Madrid. But, the man born in Laval, France stayed neutral and answered like a professional.

“I’m not going to talk about that” Aubameyang stressed.
