The UEFA Champions League final is set to happen in four days, and Real Madrid was alarmed as Cristiano Ronaldo had to leave training early with his injury scare.

Ronaldo was helped out of the field on the last 10 minutes of the training session by his teammates and the medical team when he clashed against goalkeeper Kiko Casilla as Ronaldo tried to reach out for the ball. Ronaldo was able to walk to the locker room without help from the medical team of the club.

The training session was open to the media, and Ronaldo was able to face the fans and the cameras waiting eagerly for news about his injury scare. Ronaldo made it clear that he will be well in a few days, and that the incident was just a minor scare.

Ronaldo missed three games on April including the first leg of Real Madrid’s game against Manchester City on the UCL semifinals and was subbed at the half-time of Real’s last game at Deportivo in La Liga because of his recurring thigh problem.

Real Madrid coach Zidane has also remained optimistic on Ronaldo’s situation, saying at a news conference that the attendance of the Portugal captain won’t be a problem at all. Zidane also mentioned that Ronaldo did not join in a game they played by themselves but only as a precaution as Ronaldo felt something small. He added that Ronaldo is preparing well and Real will be in good shape as they should be for the UCL final.
