Soccer News: Zlatan fulfills promise to Man Utd fans with a spectacular goal

It’s #ZlatanTime indeed. The newly acquired striker stunned everyone as he made an instant impact just minutes into his first game as a Red Devil.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic told Manchester United fans that he will not disappoint. And he did just that, probably even more, in their club’s friendly against Galatasaray.

Just around the fourth minute into the match, Zlatan scored a spectacularly athletic goal that put the entire Ullevi Stadium in awe and all United fans on their feet.

The Swedish striker showed off his acrobatic abilities in front of his home country and to the delight of the rest of Old Trafford. It was all made possible with Antonio Valencia’s cross from the right flank. When the ball was nearing Ibrahimovic, he took off to meet it mid-air and threw a flying scissors kick at it. It was not the cleanest of hits but enough to score a goal.

With that goal, Zlatan gave everyone a good preview of Manchester United’s immediate future. In an interview with Swedish TV as per ABC, the man of the match reiterated that he is going to help the team by doing what he is good at. In addition, he also hinted that the soccer world is yet to see the potential of the new and improved Red Devils.

“There is something big on the go, it’s going to be very interesting this year. Let us say that if Pogba comes too, it’s going to be very interesting,” he said with a smirk on his face.

Looks like the Old Trafford has found a new hero in Zlatan. The club certainly hopes that he would bring the kind of magic that brought a lot of silverware to Paris Saint-Germain. Although it is still too early to say but Manchester United fans have a lot to look forward to.
