English Premier League (EPL) clubs West Ham United and Southampton are looking to fight for the capture of Juventus striker Simone Zaza, this summer. The 24-year-old has been unable to break into the first team of the Italian giants and wants a move to a club which could offer him more playing time.

The Bianconeri have reportedly agreed with the player and has placed him on the transfer market. The Italian giants are looking at a fee of around $27 million for Zaza, despite the player not being a regular for them. It has to be noted that the Italian international arrived at the Juventus Stadium for $20 million from Sassuolo last summer, according to Mirror.

The fee which Juventus are demanding is termed to be too high by both West Ham United and Southampton. However, both are aware that they need to add a striker upfront if they want to achieve their ambition of finishing higher in the Premier League table next season.

Southampton are looking to replace their outgoing striker Graziano Pelle, while West Ham know that they need a striker to partner either of Andy Carroll or Enner Valencia upfront.

Zaza has made a total of 19 appearances for Juventus last season in which he scored 5 goals. The 24-year-old has also created 6 chances for the team with an average shot accuracy of 57%, as reported by

The man from Policoro, Italy has also made 9 international appearances in which he has scored 1 goal. Despite both the Premier League clubs being heavily interested in the striker’s signature, none has made any official statement confirming the news.
