After seven long years, Arian Foster and Houston Texans are parting ways, reports FOX Sports.
The news was first reported by Adam Schefter. Schefter tweeted: “Big move: Arian Foster has been told the Texans are releasing him, per a source close to him. After great run, Foster finished in Houston.”

The veteran running back’s agent, Mike McCartney confirmed the news on Twitter.

Arian who turns 30 this year, has been having a difficult time on field due to injuries. He has 6,472 rushing yards and 54 TDs in 76 games for the Texans. The team picked him up in 2009.
Last year, he played only four games due to injury. The team’s owner, Bob McNair even called him out due to his injury ridden health.
