The troubles keep piling up for Lamar Odom.
The former NBA star was reportedly found unconscious at a Nevada brothel, according to law enforcement officials.
Various reports stated that the 35-year-old Odom suffered a “medical emergency” at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada, some 80 miles (50 kilometers) northwest of Las Vegas, according to the Nye County Sheriff’s Office in a media release.
The Nye County Sheriff’s Department received a call at about 3:15 p.m for a report of an unresponsive man needing an ambulance, Sheriff Sharon A. Wehrly said in a statement.
Odom was stabilized at the scene and was about to be transported to a Las Vegas hospital via helicopter but his 6-foot-10 (2.08 meters) built, made it impossible to transport him and had to be taken on an ambulance instead, according to the statement.
The sheriff’s office further said that an investigation is now underway and gave no other details about Odom’s condition and what caused him to lose consciousness.
Odom was said to have checked into the Love Ranch on Saturday and was found unresponsive by a staff member Tuesday afternoon after days of partying.
Odom, who played 14 seasons in the NBA, is the estranged husband of reality TV star Khloe Kardashian, younger sister of Kim Kardashian. She filed for divorce from Odom back in 2013 after four years of marriage.
According to the sources of celebrity website TMZ, Khloe and Kim, as well as their mother, Kris Jenner, are already headed to Las Vegas to check on Odom at the hospital.
The Los Angeles Lakers, Odom’s former team where he won two NBA titles, has released a statement in response to the incident.
“We are of aware of the media reports but don’t have any additional information at this time,” a team spokesperson has told E! News.
