Lewis Hamilton and David Beckham were among the stars in attendance at the glitzy British Fashion Awards at Covent Garden on Monday night.
Lewis Hamilton was dressed to impress as he attended the event not long after returning from Miami where he was watching the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season finale.
And football icon David Beckham looked as dapper as ever, as he graced the glitzy Covent Garden event with his wife and pop singer turned clothes designer Victoria Beckham famously known as Posh from her Spice Girls days.
Mercedes driver Hamilton, who was crowned F1 world champion for the third time back in October, dazzled in a snappy ensemble at the Fashion Awards.
The 30-year-old was wearing an ice white blazer and black open-buttoned cutaway-collared shirt as he continued to pursue one of his most documented interests off the track.
Not one to skip on accessories, he also wore a polka dot pocket square handkerchief and a pair of diamond earrings. His diamond earrings though seem to have added an extra shine.
Hamilton happily posed for photographs and looked fresh faced inspite of travelling back from Miami where he was at the NASCAR season finale.
Hamilton jetted back to the United Kingdom after having spent a beautiful Sunday watching the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
There he posed for photos with 1978 F1 world champion Mario Andretti and NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon. The event also marked veteran Gordon’s final start of his Hall of Fame career.
Hamilton was recently in the news for his Monaco car crash ahead of his Brazilian Grand Prix which he lost to his fellow team-mate Nico Rosberg. According to reports he is also sulking after reports of his ex-girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger dating tennis ace Grigor Dimitrov surfaced.
David Beckham, who was recently named People magazine’s world’s sexiest man alive, coordinated his outfit with his wife, Victoria.
The pair who married in 1999 after a whirlwind romance sported his-and-her fitted charcoal suits as they paraded the red carpet happily posing for photographs.
The couple has three sons Brooklyn,16, Romeo,13, Cruz,10 and daughter Harper,4.
Beckham said that his spouse had congratulated him on the title before joking: “I would hope that she feels this way about me all the time anyway!”
His children though seemed to have a different take on it. At an event, Beckham said that his children laughed at him when he told them about winning the 2015 Sexiest Man Alive Award.
“We kind of laughed about it with the boys and the boys kind of laughed at me and said, ‘Really?! Sexiest man alive? Really?’ My oldest son Brooklyn was the one who was like, ‘Are you sure it’s not me that’s meant to be there today? ,” said Beckham.
Since his retirement from football in 2013, Beckham has been involved in a variety of projects including industries, advertising and charity.
Earlier this month, the former England captain organised a ‘Match for the Children’ in aid of UNICEF which saw two teams stocked with some of football’s biggest names play out an exhibition at Old Trafford.
Between his professional debut in 1992 and final match in 2013, Beckham represented a host of elite clubs, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan and PSG.
