Kobe Bryant is a legend in the true sense.
No one can question his playing skills.
However, apart from being a fantastic basketball player, Bryant is also a kind and generous human being.
They say, if you give respect you earn respect in return. And that is exactly what defines Kobe Bryant.
With one single deed, Kobe has earned our respect once again.
What you may ask.
So here it is.
The soon to be retired Lakers star has gifted LeBron James his signed games shoes.
James indeed is a lucky man.
FOX Sports reports that the Lakers legend gave James his signed game shoes before leaving Quicken Loans Arena for the last time on Wednesday night.
The pair of purple and golden Nike shoes was in fact personalized by Kobe.
Yes, you read that right.
Bryant made custom made shoes for James with special inscription of “LB” written on it.
Now, that’s what we call a touching and memorable gift.
The five time NBA champion has also previously gifted James on many occasions. That includes a pair of limited edition Adidas. Bryant gifted them to James when the two first met during LeBron’s high school days.
Bryant infact has nothing but praises for the Cleveland star.

Even though there have been talks of their rivalry for quite some time, Bryant however has dismissed all such rumors.
By his own admission, James is certainly not a rival.
“I wouldn’t say he was a rival. … I just felt like we were completely different generations,” Bryant said, reports FOX Sports.
“I just missed that thing completely. Not like a Magic and Bird sort of thing. It was more like, from the time he came in the league it was more helping him, giving him direction, advice, ’cause I was just so much older by NBA years. So no, I’ve never had that.”
