Barcelona stars Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez enjoyed a night at the town to celebrate their Champions League heroics.
The pair who both scored goals in Barcelona’s 6-1 win over Roma on Tuesday night hit the town with their partners on Wednesday to celebrate.
Messi uploaded a photograph on his Instagram account alongside the caption “enjoying the night with friends” as he and his 27-year-old partner Antonella Roccuzzo sat with Suarez and his 26-year-old wife Sofia Balbi.
Messi and Roccuzzo who have been together since 2008 recently welcomed a baby boy on September 11 this year. The pair already have a three year old boy named Thiago.
Suarez and his wife Balbi married in 2009 and the couple have a son and a daughter.
The deadly duo of Messi and Suarez, both 28, were at their attacking best on Tuesday night as they send their Italian opponents crashing down in their Champions League Group E clash and treated themselves with a night out ahead of their match at home to Real Sociedad on Saturday.
Although out of action since late September after picking up a knee injury in his team’s 2-1 win over Las Palmas, Messi made a triumphant return to the Blaugrana starting XI against Rudi Garcia’s Giallorossi side.
The four-time Ballon d’Or winner finished off a 27-pass move in the 18th minute after Suarez’s tap-in opener three minutes earlier, before poking in just before the hour-mark with his Uruguayan team-mate having already volleyed home his second on the stroke of half-time.
Barcelona are now at top of their pool with 13 points from five matches with Roma incredibly still in second with five points.
Bayer Leverkusen are in third, also with five points and BATE Borisov are fourth with four.
Luis Enrique’s men, who won the treble last season are also at top of La Liga with 30 points from 12 games; Atletico Madrid are in second with 26, and Real Madrid, who Barcelona embarrassed 4-0 at the Bernabeu in El Clasico last weekend, are in third with 24.
