Mousasi on Machida: ‘He’s a cheater’, accuses him of taking steroids

Gegard Mousasi won over Thales Leites at the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 84 held at the O2 arena in London. The 30-year-old who won the fight by unanimous decision brought forth his expert jab and takedown defense.

However, shortly after his win, Mousasi wasted no time and went on to accuse his former opponent Lyoto Machida, 37. The Iranian veteran has accused Machida of being a “cheater”. He also accuses the former UFC champion of using greasing and taking steroids.

Bloody Elbow reports that when Mousasi was asked about who he wants to fight next, he said: “I would like to fight Michael Bisping, Vitor Belfort… Machida, when he’s not on steroids and he’s not greased up.”

“No, because it’s true. The guy was f*cking greased up, and he looked like a 15-year-old boy when I fought him. Obviously he was in Brazil. He was so f*cking slippery.”

“People now are surely going to say that I’m a bad loser, but the guy didn’t look normal for a f*cking 38-year-old, and greased up all the way!” he explained.

Stating that Machida was all greased up, he went on to say, “Once he sweat, it was greasy. Even Luke Rockhold said that he was greased up when they fought.”

“He’s a cheater. What can I say? …F*ck him!,” he added.

Mousasi lost to Machida back in 2014 Jaraguá do Sul in Brazil.
