With the help of RARE Design and Barnes Design, the 2017 NBA All Star Weekend logo was based on the Charlotte Hornets’ primary logo, together with elements from the ‘Queen City’.
With the 2016 NBA All Star Weekend in Toronto part of the history books, fans are now looking forward to next year’s festivities in Charlotte, North Carolina to be hosted by the Charlotte Hornets.
The city will be hosting its first All Star Game since 1991, where it was held at the now-demolished Charlotte Coliseum. With the city having a new, state of the art downtown venue in the Time Warner Cable Arena, the city of Charlotte was once again a choice destination for the NBA’s mid-season classic.
Immediately following the Toronto All Star Game, the Charlotte All Star Game logo – designed with the help of RARE Design and Barnes Design based on the Charlotte Hornets’ primary logo – was quietly unveiled.
