Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James took the court against Los Angeles Lakers forward Kobe Bryant in a battle of this generation’s best players in this year’s NBA All Star Game in Toronto.
James, who never kept the secret that he idolized Kobe Bryant since he was a high school player in Akron, Ohio, enjoyed his time against the 20-year veteran who made his 18th and final All Star game selection.

Unfortunately, the game did not come down to either Kobe or LeBron, as game most valuable player Russell Westbrook stole the show to pull the West All Stars past the East All Stars, 196-173.
