NBA All Star: Twitter reacts to historic Slam Dunk contest

Back-to-back Slam Dunk champion Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon pushed each other and dueled to the finish, earning the praise and approval from fans and fellow players alike.

In case you were living under a rock, Aaron Gordon of the Orlando Magic and Zach LaVine of the Minnesota Timberwolves fought in epic Verizon NBA Slam Dunk Contest on All Star Saturday in Toronto.

With both men tied at 100 after the initial two dunks, LaVine barely squeaked past Gordon to win the title – his second consecutive to join the likes of Nate Robinson (2009 and 2010), Jason Richardson (2002 and 2003), and Michael Jordan (1987 and 1988) as the only back-to-back winners of the contest.

For those who followed the contest real time, each contestant’s dunks elicited an “oh-no-he-didn’t” reaction from the millions of users on Twitter who watched the dunk-off unfold.
