Kobe Bryant receives a special care package from Jordan to celebrate his 20 year NBA career, plus his 18th and final All Star appearance this weekend.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant has been compared to Michael Jordan more than he could ever count, but Jordan respects and knows greatness when he sees it.

And with Kobe Bryant marking his 18th and final All Star appearance in Toronto, Michael Jordan saw this as the best time to give a fitting going-away present for The Black Mamba.

According to Sole Collector via Twitter user @ernnytheman, the Jordan Brand has given Kobe Bryant the complete Air Jordan catalog in an all-black and all-white colorway in Bryant’s size 14 for a total of 60 pairs.

Additionally, one lucky person gets the chance to take home all 30 black pairs – also in size 14 – in an auction on eBay for charity.

Bryant is no stranger to Jordan Brand, as he laced up personal makeups of the Air Jordan – notably the 3 and 8 – during his “sneaker free-agency” in the 2002-03 NBA season.

The said makeups of both the Jordan 3 and Jordan 8 in the Los Angeles Lakers’ purple, gold, and black will be sold by Jordan Brand in special Kobe Bryant PE packs to be released in limited quantities later this month.

Take a look at some of the photos from Twitter user @ernnytheman on the pack’s unveiling:
