San Miguel Beermen center June Mar Fajardo ran off with his third consecutive Philippine Cup best player of the conference trophy prior to Game 4 of the Philippine Cup finals on Sunday.
Despite having not logged in a single minute in the Finals series thus far, Fajardo garnered the nod of confidence after amassing a total of 1407 votes from statistical points, plus votes from the media, players, and the league.

Coming in far second was Barangay Ginebra San Miguel center Greg Slaughter with 803 points. NLEX center Asi Taulava (496), NLEX forward Sean Anthony (473), and Barako Bull forward Willie Wilson (449) rounded out the other contenders.
Fajardo, who won his fourth Best Player of the Conference award, becomes the first player to win the top individual award of the Philippine Cup for three consecutive seasons.
The win pushes Fajardo behind former San Miguel Beer forward Danny Ildefonso with the most number of awards since its debut during the 1994 All-Filipino conference. He also surpassed legendary names Vergel Meneses, Eric Menk, Alvin Patrimonio, Mark Caguioa and Jayson Castro – which won the best individual plum three times each.
However, Fajardo received the award in street clothes, contrary to pre-game reports that he may suit up in order to curtail a possible Alaska Aces celebration on the PhilSports Arena floor following Game 4 on Sunday.
