English Premier League (EPL) club Arsenal’s coach Arsene Wenger is looking to bring in Argentinean striker Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli this summer.

Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has long been looking for a world-class striker to add to his squad.

Starting from the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Robert Lewandowski, the Frenchman has been linked to each and every top class striker out there in the world. Even former Manchester United striker Xavier Hernandez’s name has also been linked.

However, if recent speculations are to be believed, Gonzalo Higuain might be the one making his way to the Emirates Stadium from Napoli this summer.

Wenger is known to be an excellent manager of finance and is very negative on spending exorbitant amount on players. But, the Frenchman has shown intent of spending high recently when he brought the likes of Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid and Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona in the past seasons.

Arsenal will go all out for Higuain in the upcoming summer transfer window and are open to spend big if the situation demands it. They are willing to give everything to bring the former Real Madrid talisman to London, as reported by Fichajes.

Napoli is desperate to hold on to the player and won’t let him leave for the Premier League. His agent has stated that Higuain is happy to play for the Italian club and has no intentions to move elsewhere.

Wenger however, won’t let this slip easily and is prepared to pay high. According to reports, the subjected bid may go up to $100 million.
