Rivals feast at Rousey on Twitter following KO loss

It didn’t take long for Ronda Rousey’s rivals to take their shots at their defeated adversary in social media.

One person that would be laughing her way through Rousey’s demise is Meisha “Cupcake” Tate. With her win against Jessica Eye, Tate was promised another shot at the UFC Bantamweight Championship and a third match against Ronda Rousey. But instead, disappointment came as Dana White announced that the next opponent of Ronda Rousey will be Holly Holm.

Tate – who was hosting a UFC 193 viewing party – had this to say to the former champion, “I’m f****** stoked! f*** Ronda Rousey! F*** her and her ‘nobody has a right to beat me.’ Nobody has the right to beat you? Well, you just got beat, b****.”

Tate was not done and took a shot at Rousey in her twitter account

Cris Cyborg, a fighter from a rival fight league (Bellator) was highly regarded that can stop Ronda Rousey also took shots in Instagram and Twitter.

A photo of Cyborg, Tate and Holly Holm together was also spreading like wildfire in Twitter.

A fighter that Rousey previously fought and lost in just a few seconds, Brazillian fighter – Bethe Correia also took it to social media about her joy in seeing Ronda’s defeat which directly translates to “God is fair she fell. Laughed at me on the floor!? Here!”

Not every former opponent of Rousey had bitterness in their tweets. Cat Zingano posted a picture of her and Rousey together with the caption: #Respect #Gratitude @RondaRousey @ufc

Having said and done, Rousey’s defeat may only be an indication that the UFC Bantamweight Division can now be a level playing field for everyone in it. Tate and Holm may be the most possible match-up in the nearest future but Holm expressed that she is willing to give Rousey a rematch.
