Watch as LeBron James and JR Smith makes fans forget of the team’s behind-the-scenes issues with a nifty combination play.
Amidst the issues hounding LeBron James in his role in the ouster of David Blatt as Cleveland Cavaliers head coach, it was business as usual for him and the rest of the Cavs on the floor when they took on the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.
James himself contributed one of the amazing highlight reel plays of the night: a JR Smith steal that turned into an nifty two-man play for an alley-oop converted by James on the offensive end.

The Cleveland Cavaliers produced a 115-93 blowout of the Phoenix Suns in the team’s third game under new Head Coach Tyronn Lue. LeBron James and forward Kevin Love produced 21 points each to help the Cavaliers post a 32-12 record for the season and 18-3 at home.
As of late, LeBron James has been accused as a ‘coach killer’ since his days in Miami, where a Miami Heat team part-owner came forward and revealed that he wanted Erik Spoelstra out of the fold for him to stay in South Beach.
The decision by Pat Riley not to fire his protege Spoelstra resulted in James announcing that he will return to Cleveland after four seasons and four NBA Finals appearances with the Heat.
Additionally, former Cleveland Cavaliers center Brendan Haywood made revelations that David Blatt was out of touch with the team’s superstars – most notably James – which resulted to him losing grip of the entire team, leading to the subsequent mid-season firing.
Following the accusations of being a ‘coach killer’, James defended himself from the criticisms, saying that his words and actions are only ‘misconstrued’ because he is a ‘smart basketball player’.
