Novak Djokovic vs Mikhail Youzhny preview in US Open 2016
With Novak Djokovic vs Mikhail Youzhny preview, Russian champion gains more bets than no.1 seed. The Serbian-champion shares secret vegan lasagna diet.

Novak Djokovic will play against no. 61 seed Russian Mikhail Youzhny on Friday in the US Open 2016 court. Although the 29-year-old Serbian champion has no history of defeat against the Russian, many fans placed their bets on Youzhny to win in the said tournament.

Djokovic has only one-fourth against Youzhny’s eight bets based on the recent betting odds released. The result rooted from the tennis fans’ assumptions that Djokovic won’t succeed because of injury.

He has only moved into the third round when no. 49 seed Czech Jiri Vesely has withdrawn during the second round. They also assumed that Djokovic took the advantage of Vesely’s withdrawal to make use of the time to nurse his hand injury, which has been his struggle since Wimbledon and Rio Olympics 2016.

Furthermore, Mikhail Youzhny became the court favorite, though Djokovic is the defending champion and the one who defeated the Russianfansnnis player. International Business Times reported about the last time Djokovic and Youzhny faced each other in the same event three years ago.

According to the source, the Serbian champion won against the Russian with 6-3, 6-2,3-6, 6-0 in the quarterfinals. That means Youzhny doesn’t have an advantage compared to Djokovic. Yet, fans assumed his chances of winning the game.

Aside from the betting odds and game predictions in the US Open, the no. 1 seed Djokovic also shared his ultimate secret for his invincibility in the court. Well and Good cited that he’s also a fan of the vegan diet and has been following this strict lifestyle for a long time.
