The WWE has confirmed the return date of Cesaro to in-ring action. The official account of WWE Netherlands made the announcement on Twitter that the “King of Swing” will be back on April 15.
Cesaro will be part of WWE’s Wrestlemania Revenge tour in Europe next month. His first match is on a live event in Amsterdam, Netherlands at the Ziggo Dome. The 35-year-old wrestler has been out of action since Nov. 23, 2015, when he underwent surgery to repair a torn left shoulder rotator cuff muscle.

In an interview with Esquire Middle East last month, Cesaro revealed that he will miss WrestleMania 32 in Dallas. However, he is planning to change his phone’s background with a WrestleMania 33 logo to keep him motivated.
So who could the “Swiss Superman” face in his in-ring return? He still has no official opponent for the Wrestlemania Revenge tour but fans will be glad to see him back in the ring. A.J. Styles is a name the pops out to many diehard fans mind and Cesaro teased it a little during a chat with The National in Dubai.
“I think I have faced pretty much everyone that is in the WWE. A.J. Styles is new and I think he is the only one since I got hurt to have arrived in the WWE that I have not stood in the ring with,” Cesaro said.
He was also asked if he would like to have a match with “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar. “I have not done a singles with Brock. It is definitely not mine [ambition, to face him] as I’d rather stand in the ring against someone is with WWE the whole time,” he answered.
Before his injury, he had an entertaining feud with Kevin Owens and competed in the WWE World Heavyweight championship tournament.
